Mathios Village

This hotel is situated in the south west of the island, 12km from Fira town. It is set amongst the green vineyards of Akrotiri, away from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist-orientated towns. The beach is very close by.
This is a family run property where attention to detail is important to the owners as is the quality they offer. The pool area offers a relaxing place with sunbeds and a bar serving drinks and light snacks. There is also a fitness room and a business centre.
A low rise villa style white washed property made up of several buildings with a stone paved pool area in the middle, the hotel also boasts beautiful planted areas.
The Grand Suites are elegantly decorated with hand-crafted wood furnishings & luxurious fabrics, some have loft style bedrooms, all have spacious sitting rooms, built-in cupboards, large bathrooms, and direct dial telephones with internet access for personal laptops. Facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar and hairdryer, and balconies or terraces (some of which have sea views. Sea views can be requested but not guaranteed).
The lobby is decorated in cream colours and has a traditional Greek lounge feel to it with sofas and large rugs on the floor.
The restaurant is decorated in the traditional style of the hotel. Quality home made Greek and European dishes are served. Fresh fish features on the menu along and vegetarian tastes are also catered for.
