This is a beautiful property that has some nice activities for travelers who want to relax and enjoy nature and don't mind spending a few bucks in the process. |

my husband and I will be highly reocmmending and returning to amelia island plantation. Our oceanfront accomodations could not have been any better if we had stayed at the Ritz Carlton. (We did visit the Ritz while we were there). Our room was an elegant oceanfront room-better than expected since we paid about half the price thru skoosh! There was plenty to do on property for the whole family and transport to take you around so the car is not needed. The food was fabulous. The nearby town of fernandina was so cute. We wished for one more day--hopefully next year again! |

Tile walkways were loud when guest rolled their luggage down the walkways particularly in the early mornings. |

We stayed four nights in a 1 bedroom villa and were very pleased with our accomodations. The view was spectacular and the condo was very well appointed! We were prepared for the cost of food on the plantation in thanks to others who had given reviews for their stay. We chose to dine in Fernandina for our evening meals and were able to eat our other meals in the villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. Amelia Island does not feel as "touristy" as other beaches we have visited. I think a lot of people would enjoy this aspect of it. Thank you, Skoosh, for helping us get the best deal! |

The grounds were truly beautiful - lots of lush landscaping and trails to hike and walk. The rooms were great, very clean, ocean front views, and the cleaning staff was awesome (they actually washed our dishes!!) We searched the entire pan handle of Florida and this property was the best deal. It is a golfing community, so if the suns not shining, make sure you have transportation to do some sightseeing. St. Augustine is definitely worth the drive - we went two days in a row. |
