Stayed at Novotel March 2008. Good size rooms and very clean. Be aware that a double room does not mean double bed. This being a wedding anniversary, twin beds were a big |

The hotel is close to the RAI and a 10-15 minute ride to the city's attractions. As for the hotel itself, I was majorly impressed. It's immaculate. My room (1032) was extremely comfortable, had a fully stocked minibar and had pleasant toiletries in the good sized bathroom. Although the room was next to the 5 lifts that operate, I found it to be pretty quiet throughout. The views are OK, but not spectacular. 24-hr room service prices were quite reasonable, as was the dry cleaning service. Breakfast was included in my rate and could be delivered to your room for free - perfect. The restaurant is nice and airy, with a wide selection of food available until midnight. The breakfast buffet is of a good standard, but expensive if you pay for it daily. My highlight here was the staff. They would always go that extra mile. I'll be returning. |

I stayed at the Novotel in Amsterdam City for recreational purpose. I feel that the location is not as central as described on various websites. It was close to a subway station, however, there was only one tram line nearby (which took about 30 minutes to get to the central part of the city). However, overall, the hotel was nice which outweighed the location problem. The buffet breakfast (which came with my breakfast) served so many different kinds of food. The size of the room was decent, the room service was great, and the hotel staff spoke good English. Great value! |

The location of the hotel is only a few minutes to the city centre by Metro or Tram. The staff was helpful and courteous and the breakfast was excellent (Make sure the breakfast is included when booking). The room was spacious and clean and the conditions of the hotel were pretty new. I recommend getting a 24/48/72hr pass to use the metro, buses and tram. |
