This is an excellent new addition to the city centre of Amsterdam with a fantastic location in an exclusive part of town yet a short walk to all major attractions. It comes highly recommended jg July 2011

This hotel is located in the very heart of Amsterdam, just around the corner from the Museumplein and the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum and also opposite the PC Hoofstraat with its designer shops and cafes. It is also a small stroll from the Leidseplein with all its shops, cafes and the famous Holland Museum, and also from the Vondel Park

Although this is a brand new product that opened in the summer of 2011, it is a traditional building with a traditional exterior

The lobby is medium in size but very bright and includes the reception area, an honesty bar where guests sign for the drinks that they consume, an internet corner as well as the restaurant which also overlooks the lovely small back garden with its decking and seating in the summer, weather permitting!

The bedrooms are very well maintained and cotemporary in design offering all the facilities expected of a hotel of its class including Cocomat beds, LCD televisions in the bedroom AND bathroom, a dvd player in all rooms and exceptionally large cupboard space. The bathrooms are in excellent condition with fantastic power showers and dark grey slate floors with the added benefit that the sink is located in the bedroom and not the bathroom offering increased space and the ability to use the sink and mirror when someone else is using the bathroom.
