This is very much a group hotel as everything is geared up to volume with the exception of the restaurant. The shuttle bus means that even though its location is not ideal, it is very easy to get to the city centre and around the rest of the country making it ideal for individual travellers also. 1008JG This hotel is located close to the airport and offers a shuttle service to and from the airport meaning that the connections to the city centre are excellent, as are the connections to the rest of Europe. The train from Schiphol to Central Station takes 12 minutes by fast train and 20 minutes by slow train. A modern, low rise building. The lobby is very large with plenty of seating although it resembles a shopping mall with escalators as stairs leading to the American diner restaurant, a French bistro and the breakfast room. The bedrooms are all standard and are medium sized and in good condition. They are basic but functional and are double glazed so as not to get any disturbance from the airport traffic.

There was no decent food choices when you arrive late in the evening. Also there are no toiletries provided you have to pay for them. Comfortable bed adequate room size.

Ibis at Amsterdam airport

This is only a shuttle ride away from the airport, which is convenient. They have a good breakfast included, internet, and comfortable beds. Only problem is it is not near the train to Amsterdam city. You have to take a shuttle back to the airport to get the train to town and back again. If that is what you are there for, the Ibis in Amsterdam by the train station is more convenient, but not by the airport..

Easy access to center city via train at airport - which seems to run avery ten minutes....A little expensive, but given the euro/ dollar "issue"

Small but well maintained and fashionably appointed rooms with modern decor. Only issue with room was a lack of coffee making faciities, something I expect regardless of how many starts a hotel has. Only visited on site American diner, one of three possible restaurant. Long wait and mediocre food. Breakfast was adequate but has long hours so suitable for all. Shuttle bus to and from airport timely and a great boon. All in all a good experience.

yes, i might recommend it because of the location. The thing that most impressed me was the room was quite clean. However, the speed of check-in process and the breakfast quality was not as good as expectation. Actually, i don't think it is value for money, it was just acceptable. it did not really match my expectation as the shuttle bus wasn't on time. Anyway, it was not too bad, but the quality of facilities can be improved.
