Conscious Hotel Museum Square is a 3 star hotel in Amsterdam. Situated close to the famous Concertgebouw, the hotel enjoys an excellent location. It is close to the main museums and the very fashionable and up-market PC Hoofstraat with its designer shops and trendy cafes. It is also within walking distance of the Vondel Park, Leidseplein, Holland Casino and numerous bars and restaurants.

The building resembles a typical Dutch townhouse.
The bedrooms are medium to large in size; in fact, they are some of the largest bedrooms in Amsterdam, and are decorated in simple pastel colours. Although the decor is a little dated, both the bedrooms and bathrooms are in very good condition and the size of the rooms compensates for the slightly dated decor.
The small lobby is pleasantly decorated in a modern style and leads to a small lounge area.
There is an intimate bar, cosy lounge and bright breakfast room overlooking a Japanese Garden where one can sit and have a drink, weather permitting.

Fantastic location, nice and quiet hotel.
If your after a quiet and relaxed place to stay this is it.

Short distance from bus and tram stops (literally 2min)
We were lucky and got a room on the ground floor with huge patio doors going out side. So lots of light in the room it was big and spacious.
Nice shower and bathroom.
Very very good service. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean hotel room with reasonable sized bathroom in the museum district. It's a little far from the central station, but there is a tram. The Van Gogh Museum and the Rijks Museum are nearby and there is shopping and restaurants. From the hotel we walked to the central area (stopping along the way) and took the tram back. Staff is very helpful and recommended a great Indonesian restaurant - Puri Mas. Considering the prices in Europe now compared to the US dollar, it was a good value when booked thru Skoosh.

This is very good located hotel, just few minutes walking distance to main museums and public transportation stops.
You have no expect to find marble, expensive linen or plush carpet there. But bed is ok, room is clean, shower is nice and hot. Mini fridge is very helpful. Just have in mind there is no AC in every room, but in April it was not a question at all.
This hotel is good value for paid money, and I can recommend it for travelers who want to save some money in very expensive Amsterdam.
