This hotel was excellent. Our rather high expectations were fully met.
The staff behind the reception desk were very helpful and informed. The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped. This is a modern hotel and the location was perfect for the museums of Amsterdam. There was an impressive choice of food for breakfast. They also offered a paying shuttle to the airport every hour. This was an efficient service and at 12.5 € per person one way, was convenient and good value.
All in all, this hotel comes highly recommended.

I stayed 5 days at the NH Museum Quarter Hotel.I received a 6th floor room with floor to ceiling windows and a view of the canal across the street. Other than the too soft bed, which was fixed, and towels which wer not on par with a hotel of this grade, it was very nice. Breakfast was very nice and consisted of a buffet with lots of choices for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike.
When one of the night desk people was rude to me, i complained politely to the manager ( Ann) and pointed out the clerk's attitude was not approopriate for this level ( 4 star) hotel. The manager put a beautiful gift of body products in my room the next day along with a note of apology.
The bed was softer than I'd like. Renco the night houseman, found scraps of lumber in the basement and helped me firm up the bed- a very pleasant person.
Patty and Judite, front desk people, along with Sera were helpful.i had a bit of a problem one day and could not go out for dinner. They helped translate an Italian menu for me for delivery.
Hotel needs to have a list of stuff to do in the area- i found this square with restaurants only by asking for a place that was close by on my last day.
Beware of taxi drivers and ask before closing the door if they know where you are heading, if not the major attractions. I wanted to go to church on Sunday ( I'm a Christian Scientist) and he dropped me off on the wrong street in front of the wrong church! Fortunately my street was close by. Another taxi driver was excellent- took me to the Arena area to a sporting goods store and insisted on waiting for me without the meter running because there are so few taxis in the area!!
Hotel is a nice location- quiet street, 3- 4 blocks to a grocery store ( Albert Hein) and a bit closer to tram. easily walkable to Rykes Museum, canal boat stop, and Van Gogh.
Handy to have a mini fridge in the room to store leftovers.
internet acces was expensive ( 417 euro per 24 hr period) it did not work for 3 out of 4 days and the company gave me my money back. I have a Mac.
