On arrival our room was ready and very neat and tidy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I became ill and they arranged for a doctor and also gave us a late checkout.

This hotel is near Schiphol airport and has a free shuttle to the airport. The rooms are big and wel decorated and gives you more than value for money!

Yes it is good. BUTdespite the lift, there are nonetheless quite a lot of stairs and that is not great if you have heavy luggage. The hotel seems to comprise several buildings which might explain its upstairs/downstairs nature.

The hotel was so nice and clean. Lot of good design and art the thing that realy disappointed me is the parking that i have to pay for!? When I set my search preferences to have a hotel with parking i never imagined that it should be payable parking and i have to pay approx 20 Euro pernight for the parking. Second thing was when the was electrical problem in my room around 21:00 and i have to take my baby whom 1 year old out to the corridor because she was afrraid of the dark. and there was nobody incharge for that. They were looking for the power panel key just to switch the circut breaker on again but they simply didnt find the key so i have to pack my things to other room and you can imagine what could that be!. I got no discount for that

A good solid airport hotel. Good value for money. Very friendly restaurant staff (at breakfast), reception staff less so. Excellent shuttle service to airport and local business park. Free wifi but unbelievably low bandwidth so very slow. Surprisingly good sports facilities for this class of hotel (albeit small) with squash courts, exercise machines, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, very small swimming pool all open till 11 pm. Poor choice of TV channels. Very noisy air conditioning in bedrooms. Apart from that, rooms surprisingly quiet considering it is next to the runway. Bar meals quite expensive though good quality, minibar prices an outrage (but this is the same for most hotels). If you are feeling cheap there is a McDonald's next door. Overall I would say staying at the NH is a good experience and I have stayed there many times.

This was a nice hotel, easy to park there and easy to travel in to Amsterdam. Nice and serviceminded people in the reseption. And had a bed where we slept sooo good in

I couldn't fault the staff or the hotel. The service was very attentive and the room was very nice, its a very modern hotel and is only 2 years old so everything you can expect is there.
The location is the only minor grumble however it is no more than a 5 minute walk to the Amsterdam Zuid train station and the tram stop. Trams run frequently into the night until 1am and a 4 day travel card was only EUR20 so its was very convinent for sightseeing also. It took around 30 mins door to door to Amsterdam Centraal station. If you're interested in visiting museams or Leidsplein its probably the same distance as it would be from Amsterdam Centraal as it is from Amsterdam Zuid so again really convinent.

The hotel was nice. The room was good size, bath room with tub, clean. Aircondition a bit noisy.
Breakfast tasty with a lot to choose from.
Friendly staff.
Located in a area without charm, but only appox 15 min walk to the VU university and also close to RAI congress venue.
Only a couple of minutes to walk from last stop of tram (4 goes often, to center). Also metro .
10 min by train to Schipol (RAI station)
In total - nice hotel, good breakfast, easy access to conference area. If you are in Amsterdam to see the city, you might rather stay somewere closer to center. Transportation very easy from this hotel.
Good value for money.

My room was small, basic and in common with the rest of the hotel the decor a little dated but it was clean, comfortable and everything worked as it should. The position of the hotel is great, near enough for you to walk to all the popular entertainment areas, 5 min to Dam Square, 10 min to Leidseplein but far enough away for you to get some sleep. There are also a good selection of local bars and restaurants. Easy to get to from the station being a 2 min walk from the No 5 tram stop , buy your travel card just outside the station it is worth every penny if you really want to explore the city. Staffs were polite and the breakfast was not bad. The star ratings for Amsterdam are meaningless don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. I would stay there again!

The lobby and decor were adequate, the bathroom was large if outdated. The rooms were sparing in size. The beds were not up to standard. If you're fussy about your bed, this is not the place, all the rooms have single beds, which are really rather small, I joined up two beds and dried to make a double, wasn't easy and still rather uncomfortable.

Breakfast was ok, was included in price, ( I wouldn't pay 15 euros for it though!). Overall for the price, I've found better and ive definitely found worse.

We had a great weekend in Amsterdam and staying right in Rembrandt Square was perfect. We were very happy with the value for money and the breakfasts were top class. We were lucky to get a room facing the square and slept well even though there was some noise at night. Access around the city with the tram outside the door and a 3 day travel ticket was very easy. I would highly recommend Hotel Schiller to my friends

Me and my wife stayed at Kransapolsky for 2 nights during a weekend. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast area was very nice and bright. We actually got an upgrade, to a very nice room on the top floor with balcony, with great view over the city.
The only thing which was little disappointing was the maintenance in the room. Few small things should have been fixed, but in general this was not bothering us. But all in all this is a very nice hotel with great location, which I can recommend.
