Located in a peaceful, residential street, the Trianon hotel is, nevertheless, very centrally located, being within walking distance of the Rijks, Stedelijk and Van Gogh Museums; similarly, Amsterdam's Concert Hall is just around the corner. Rooms are all equipped with en-suite facilities, direct dial telephone, cable television, radio and hairdryers, and the hotel offers an excellent base from which to discover the delights of Amsterdam. Friendly staff are on hand not only to welcome guests but also to assist with directions, suggestions or even reservations. Extremely good value for money. I origanly booked a non smoking room by mistake and then requested a smoking room and they were only to happy to help.Our room wasnt a bunk bed room we ended up getting a twin room. I knew before i went the rooms were going to be small but they wernt as bad as i thought and were cleaned every day we also had a balcony which was a plus point. Easy acess to center by num5 tram. well worth 100 quid for 4 nights plus breakfast! Staff were excellent. wud stay again.

Our room was like a prison cell. Very small with a little TV, small bunk bed, small bathroom, useless closet. But it didn't matter b/c we were out and around in Amsterdam all day. On the otherhand the service was good and the breakfast was alright. so all in all...we got what we paid for
