Loews Annapolis Hotel

The location can't be beat...an easy walk to the downtown area. A free room service breakfast also came with my Skoosh reservation, which was a nice surprise. My only complaint was noise...noise coming from the hallway and outside made it hard to get to sleep.

I would 100% recommend this hotel. The service was first rate and the rooms were beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. They exceded our expectations. We hosted our daughter's wedding there and were treated like royalty.

I was angered by the fact that the entire hotel had been taken over by the Navy Class of 1969. I could not walk through the lobby without winding my way through two formal receptions. Once, I tried to use the stairs and found that the only way out on the first floor was either through the loading dock or through the ballroom housing one of their events. There was no notice given of any of these events to the non-Navy guests.

The concierge even admitted that they hold lots of such events for the Navy.

The workers at the hotel were very nice, but based on how the hotel treated its non-Navy guests, I would not stay here again. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from in Annapolis.

The room was nice and comfortable even though we reserved a King and ended up with two doubles. The beds and pillows are very nice.

The courtyard can get a little noisy if there is a wedding or something, but they knock that off by 11 or so.

The only gripe we had was that they "nickle and dime" you...expensive parking and amenities (wi-fi, computer use, bottled water, etc).

Very close to downtown Annapolis as well as the Football stadium and the complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent.

This hotel looked beautiful online and that made me skeptical. I thought, yea, I'll bet they showed their nicest room and I will end up with no AC and sharing a bathroom.

I was pleased to find out how wrong I was! The room was exactly like the one in the picture. It was very large, comfortable bed, nice TV, good size bathroom - nothing to complain about.

The staff was so pleasant and helpful and the location was great.
