The area around the hotel was not so good. There is a restaurant near the hotel which serves excellent food for lunch and dinner. The rooms were comfortable.

We found the hotel centrally located and a good value for what was offered. It had a great breakfast buffet to get us started in the morning. The stafff was very helpfull.
Would choose this hotel if we visited Athens again! Tom and Sharon Martin

The Best Western is located in a neighborhood a convenient walk from Plaka, Syntagma Square, and the Acropolis (about 15-20 min). It was clean and neat, the continental breakfast was very good, and the staff very helpful (they were even able to find phone numbers for airlines in the states, which Information was unable to do.) Some of the rooms were a little bit dark, and the one we were in had a view almost totally obscured by surrounding buildings- the only sky you could see was through a break about a foot wide through the walls of other buildings next door. This made it quite dark and claustrophobic, and the ledges outside the window were perfect for roosting pigeons, which cooed all night at high volume.
