The 2* Omega hotel is a family owned and managed property right in the heart of Athens. The areas of Plaka, Constitution Square and Athens Central Market are all easily reached on foot. The hotel offers guests a hearty breakfast to start their day in Athens before a day of sightseeing.
All of the hotels 54 rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, telephone and satellite television, they are basic but good value for money.
(Guests booking a triple room should note that these consist of a double room with an extra bed and not three seperate beds and that double rooms consist of twin bedding).
Interesting location next to new Agora. Hotel needs maintenance but you get what you pay for.

This hotel is more for 'frugle' travelers. Small rooms, run down as can be, but we were after what we got...clean sheets and a private bathroom. It sits immediately adjacent to the vegetable market. Don't get me wrong...the staff was very friendly and courtious. Just don't expect a five star hotel when you are only paying for a zero star. Back packers delight, as it is just what a back packer expects.
