I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience the charm of a classic hotel, exquisitely appointed, and perched in the Canadian Rockies. Everything about this hotel is first class. A solid choice! |

Very nice hotel. "View" room we received was a 1' x 2' window over looking the valley. Great location, lousy view location. Only received one bath robe. Granted, minor inconvenience, but paying a 4 star price should receive 4 star service. Brought this to the attention of the hotel and it wasn't corrected during our 5 day stay. Prices in the restaurants and bars were obscene, so we highly recommend that you go into town for drinks and/or dinner. |

The staff were amazing! The exterior and interior, lobby, stores, and amenities were excellent. Our room was spacious, but lacked a few of the current day amenities I'm used to while I'm on the road for business. Such as a Plasma TV with a better channel selection and a microwave to heat up some left overs after napping from a long hike. It had a fridge which was great for a late night bottle of champagne. The only downside my wife noted was the old cast iron tub. She had to run the shower for 15mins to warm the tub up so she didn't freeze in it while she soaked one night. However, the view from our room was awesome! Next time, we will try out the Rimrock since we are used to modern hotels. In short, the Banff Springs hotel was great! |

Definitely recommend the hotel, it is fantastic. Rooms aren't the best but the entire hotel and experience is top notch. Facilities are amazing and the feel of the castle is un-matched. Love the Banff Springs! |
