We had a romantic weekend away at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, very woodsy - although it was very small - was great for two, would've been a real crush for any more. The lobby was lovely with giant wood burning fireplace to warm up after walking around Banff. Complimentary continental buffet was one of the best I've ever seen - food was plentiful, fresh and there was a great variety. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We'd definitely stay here again. |

We spent four nights at the Fox at the end of June and weren't disappointed. The rooms are nicely decorated and quite spacious although the bathroom could have been a little bigger. We had the continental breakfast where you can chose from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muffins and fruit scones. There's also a waffle maker where you can make your own fresh waffles - which was a big hit with the kids! |

We stayed 4 nights at the Fox in Banff. We upgraded to a nice suite with with living room, kitchenette bath and bedroom. I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I was disappointed that some things didn't work - for example the jacuzzzi in the hot tub area. The safe in our room was locked when we arrived and in sprite of my phone call it was still locked when we left - so we were never able to use it. |

We loved our time at the Fox after paying $20 to upgrade and had a lovely spacious suite. The first room looked out onto a flight of stairs so it was well worth the upgrade. Facilities were good - enjoyed the hot pool - took bathers just for this and it was good - thank god for hole in roof for cool air - it is pretty hot in there. Front desk helpful and friendly. Laundry facilities good. Ate at Chillis restaurant on second night and had great meal of ribs with great service from Aussie waiter - lots of them in Banff! Breakfast was very good too.Great waffle set up. Free bus pass is a bonus - great for getting to Gondola and Banff springs. Good size town for walking around. Other great place to eat in town was Elk and Oarsman - good food lunch and dinner |
