For the price of the room it was okay. Our room had holes in the floor tiles which we mistook for dirt. The patio furniture was dirty and had to be wiped off.
Some things were not within the Hotel's control, like distance from the town centre and crazy people screaming names throughout the parking area at 3am.
Either than that, the furniture was out dated, decor was outdated. Having a little kitchenette was a nice touch, the loft bedroom idea is nice so you can have more than 1 couple stay in 1 "Room".
I might come back to this Hotel....might.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Tunnel Mountain Lodge and we would go back again. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Location of the Lodge is brilliant as you can get around to the lakes, mountains etc very easily. There is a little shop just outside for anything you may have forgotten or need i.e. milk, bread, ice cream! Only downside is, is that the decor is slightly dated.

Disappointed. Lack of attention to detail in the area of cleanliness.
Our room - 1 bedroom in the RundleView complex was badly designed. The bathroom opened out into the kitchen - with the commode directly facing the cooking range. (Not a very appetizing situation!)
Noticed blood stains on the bathroom floors. The hairdryer seemed to have an "auto turn off" feature. It could only be used once in a 24 hour period. The place is only cleaned once every 3 days. So while they will do the beds and replace towels daily, they have to be told explicitly about any other needs.
Circulation was very bad. It would get too hot at night, so had to leave the front door open to cool the place off.
Overall - would not stay there again.

We were pleased with our stay--we had 4 adults and 2 small children, so we booked a loft suite. It saved us money versus getting two separate regular hotel rooms in Banff and we had a full kitchen. The pool is quite small and older but it kept the kids happy.
