Situated opposite the National Art Gallery on the main Ratchadmnoen Road, the 2 star Sawasdee Khaosan Inn is just a 3 minute walk to the famous Khaosan Road with its multitude of street cafes, shopping, bars and restaurants. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful — If you only want the essentials to spend the night, the price is decent. There is a bed, cable TV, a restroom with shower, a chair and even a small fridge. The staff are fine and the breakfast is minimal but it keeps you alive. Getting there from other locales in Bangkok can be a problem. If small dark places depress you, avoid staying here. If you just want a bed and restroom for a night, the place is fine. It is more of a backpacker habitat.
