I would recommend the Bluenose to anyone. The beds are wonderful and have wonderful soft featherbeds. The price is very reasonable and there are 3 different restaurants and best of all - room service. This more than met my expectations.

We were very definitely pleased with the Bluenose Inn in Bar Harbor. The room was spacious, neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and the view was good. I would certainly stay there again. I'm a bit picky when it comes to hotel rooms so I was very pleased when we walked in the door of the room!

The Inn was very nice and the staff friendly. I ordered room service from the Rose Garden and the food and service was outstanding.

My only issue was – their pillows did not have allergen covers. If you have allergies with dust mites, take your own pillows.

We spent 3 nights in Bluenose Inn. I booked this place because it was suppose to be a waterfront property, but it is not. It is facing the mane road to the town with constant traffic – very noisy. We could not sleep with the open windows as we would like. I booked queen/king room, but at arrival we where offered a room with two small beds in the back building that has a view of the parking lot. I showed them the voucher indicating the type of room I booked, the front desk girl called the manager and we got a room with two queen size beds, love seat, fire place and balcony in the main building.Will not stay there again because of the noisy location.

Nicely appointed room, comfortable bed, great views, loved the pool and steam room after a day of biking and hiking. Room environmental controls good, loved the fireplace. Staff was uniformly helpful and courteous.
