Situated at an advantageous location for the Ramblas and general shopping areas, within walking distance. The metro and train stations within 5-10 minute walk. Small hotel, clean, room was small with not much storage space. The first room allocated to me on the second floor was a bit noisy from the trains - built on top of underground. Given identical room on the 7th floor, not as noisy but it was lacking the in room kettle-tea/coffee facility. so incosistency! The shower although powerful the glass door rails was broken as a result when you try to close/open will come off it's location and could seriously hurt you. The shower head had the wrong base (supposed was changed in the past but not with the proper part) as a result while having a shower could drop on your head and cause injury.I reported it immediately but no action was taken! Breakfast good, had plethora of fruit, cereals, frying etc. Overall, for Barcelona's city centre standards the hotel it's good, despite my experience and hope it was unique. Possibly return to it on my next visit.
