apsis Splendid Barcelona is great bargain.

Very friendly and helpful staff. 5 minute walk to La Rambla. Short taxi ride to Port if you're cruising. Very clean. Decent breakfast buffet. Can't tell you how nice two girls behind the desk and the young man helping with our bags were to us. Maybe we just hit a lucky day but it was a great exsperience for the price compated to some big chains, etc.
