Located in Barcelona's commercial area, in the gothic quarter and quite close to the Liceo Theatre and Sant Jaume square. The hotel is surrounded by numerous boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants and the sea is roughly 1 km away and public transport is within very easy reach. The rooms are light and spacious and are equipped with bath/WC, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, central heating and a safe. There's a breakfast buffet available to guests each morning which is pretty basic but is fine to start you off for the day. The staff are really friendly and helpful. A simple but clean hotel with the basic amenities but in a great location. Good for travellers on a budget.
I would recommend to others as long as you want to be in the middle of it all. It is right off Las Ramblas and there are several bars very close. People are up really drunk and screaming until around 4am so dont expect much sleep. The walls are thin so expect to know what you neighbor is doing. The staff is helpful though and friendly and do speak english. The location is great if you like to party, but otherwise I would stay away. Rooms are small but clean.

I love the hotel, the location is incredible: near the "Metro" and the "rambla". The room was very clean and warm, the breakfast was ok (not great, but good for a hotel of 2 *). The employees were very respectful, the only inconvenient is that if you like to sleep in a quiet environment, it will be difficult because the hotel is located in a street full of pubs and everyday you will have noise until 3am.
