This hotel is located right in the middle of the Eixample area, the main tourist and business centre of Barcelona. It is only 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya. This hotel also provides a stunning outdoor swimming pool and solarium with wonderful views and a courtesy car. There are also meeting rooms, a bar, gym and sauna. It is a very modern construction in a unique style. All rooms are of a high standard and fully equipped with interactive and 32-inch LCD television, minibar, internet access, fax machine, safety deposit box, bathrobe and sleeper. Contemporary decor with wooden floor. The hotel has a breakfast room on an upper floor. They also offer a room service menu from 7. 00am to 12. 00pm. The lobby area is well decorated and medium in size, with free internet access and sofas at the rear. 1 kms to city centre, 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 12 kms to the nearest airport (barcelona), 2 km to the nearest fair site (fira barcelona), 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station (diagonal (l-3 / l-5)), Close to the station (paseo de gracia).

A bit disappointed of the rooms. They were dark, small window and the view was to a backyard. The rooms are not isolated, and it was really hard to sleep at night as the noice from the rooftop bar was really noticeable. Ventilation was a bit strange as there was a distinct tobacco smell in the kids bedroom (we had 509 and 507), and neither of them are smokers. The roof area was great though. Small, but sufficient pool and a nice bar. Expensive drinks. Breakfast was great with a good selection.

Single room extremely noisy with a window facing the interior corridor

I stayed 2 nights and in the first night my room was extremly noisy facing the corridor of the hotel. Very clastrophobic and very noisy because you hear the elevator very very loud. So loud that even with the TV on I still heard the elevator louder than the TV. Beside that the walls are very thin, so thin that in the morning I heard the neighbour talking in the bathroom and drying their hair. After complaining in the first night and getting the answer that the hotel is in full capcity and they can't move me, they finally moved me the next night to a bigger room. the window was facing a fenced balcony which means only a view up to the skies. On the good side- they have a great location and a very good breakfast. The single room is a disaster the double acceptable.
