Aneto Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it as an excellent base from which to explore Barcelona and see the sites. The hotel was just a few moments walk away from the Metro (Liceu), La Rambla and Placa Catalunya.

Our room was clean and comfortable with a clean bathroom. We had a window onto a light well so not a great view, but we were using the room as a base so that was not a problem for us. There were occasional noises from other adjoining rooms, but nothing excessive or disturbing.

The availability of pastries and hot drinks in the morning was an unusual but pleasant gesture.

The staff were helpful and polite. We would stay at this hotel again.

Very clean, the beds ware good, spacious room, friendly staff.
Good value for money!

The only negative point was the breakfast (no fresh coffee but from a machine and cake instead of bread).

If you are planning on spending any time in the room, other than to sleep, I would not recommend it. Room was very small, no room to walk around, but clean. Pvt bath was fine. All in all it met our needs, but not quite our expectations. You get what you pay for.
