I would recommend especially for the great location.
The staff were very nice and helpful.
The rooms are too small, but OK.
Over all the price is too high for what you get, this is not a 4* hotel for sure, and i do travel a lot around the world.

It was a really good hotel. Rooms are exactly how they looked like on the website. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice. It was definitely good value for money. Would certainly go back there.

After reading so many reviews i was very apprehensive about our stay but i need not have been. we got the room for a very good price and wow what a room. we were given a room on the top floor(9th) with queen size bed,jacuzzi bath tub,ample space and a great balcony over looking Barcelona.it was a real sun trap too! Toiletries such as body wash,hair comb,shower hat,towels and mini bar all well stocked. room was cleaned beautifully daily and air con was fab. right beside las ramblas and metro. beautiful staff, very decent. no problem with supplying adaptor for appliances. We didn't get breakfast in the hotel because its cheaper out and about. no tea facilities but to be honest, u shouldn't need it if u want to see Barcelona!! overall our three day stay was fabulous and we will defiantly stay again.

Location was brilliant. Only a few yards from Passeig de Gracia and La Rambla. Great for seeing the City. The room was functional...Standard Accomodation...Beds were clean and comfortable....Linen was changed daily...Bathroom was clean....Room was suitably aired and as we were there in April we did not have to use the Air Conditioning. TV had the usual Spanish channels and CNN, BBC World and Euronews....Kept us up to date with world events.
It was good value for money...Room came equipped with a Mini-Bar.....We did not use it....but the prices were not excessive.
Hotel pretty much was as advertised on website....so all expectations were met...If we are back in Barcelona anytime soon we would be looking to stay at the hotel again!

Having been to Barcelona on several occasions, for short holidays, and stayed in varying types of accommodation we searched the internet for 'a good deal in March 2011'. I had never heard of Skoosh before, but found the Eurostars Cristal Palace Hotel at a very competitive rate on the Skoosh site and booked without hesitation. We were not disappointed - we loved our four day stay and a big part of our enjoyment was due to the quality of the hotel and it's superb location. The standard room was clean, modern and comfortable with a good size bathroom. We booked on a B&B basis and enjoyed the buffet style breakfast, which kept us going until well into the day. Given the opportunity to visit this hotel again I would not hesitate and Skoosh will be the top of my list for good deals/prices.

Very clean and in the perfect location. Only 2 blocks from the start of Ramblas and 2 blocks from many of the classic Barcelona restaurants in the other direction. Room was clean, bathroom was spacious, comfortable bed, AC worked great. Great value for your money - highly recommend!

We selected Eurostar Cristal Palace based on a 4 star rating. The room we were given at check-in was no where near even 2 stars. The room itself was approx. 10 sq.m. with no windows to the outside and a bad smell coming from a moist bathroom.

At first, we accepted our faith and slept there for 2 of the 4 nights we had booked - then we complained at the reception desk - nicely, signalling disappointment, not dissatisfaction.

Within minuts, we were given a new room. This time facing the street. Approx. double size (appropriate for a 4 star hotel) and more properly equiped.

Had we been given the second room at check-in, we would have rated the hotel 4-star - the first room was simply unacceptable (1-2 stars).

Nice breakfast restaurant with good food and wide selection.

Overall service at the hotel was 4-star.

I would recomend this hotel!
Location is perfect!
Service was great, very clean, LCD TV with CNN and BBC apart from the spanish channels!
I have booked a smoking room but they didn't have it. Still i had no problem smoking in the non-smoker room.

The only two cons i have is that double bed was actually a twin bed and that the jakuzi didn't work.
