The hotel is great. Since I didn't speak Spanish or Catalan, it helped the staff spoke English. There was a public computer on the first floor, which provided free internet. Traveling in March, I suppose the price for the room was very cheap. Our room was a very good size, facing La Rambla. Also it was convenient, the L3-Liceu stop was directly outside of the hotel. The location of the hotel is convenient to walk to other sightseeing spots in the area, or to other Metro Stops. Be careful on La Rambla though. Within seconds of arriving at the Liceu stop, my girlfriend's wallet was stolen; the suitcases must've given us away as tourists! So any place on La Rambla, you must consider the noise, safety, ..

Having to pay a deposit for the room key was unexpected and not appreciated. The best thing was the location, everything else was below expectations

For a hotel on the Rambla, it is not as noisy as we expected. If you are traveling in a group, ask for the 1st floor with the shared sitting space, if not, go up higher. Side of the hotel with garden view also hears the elevator rumbling all night long though you can sleep through it if not jet lagged. but most importantly - don't get the breakfast. They charge 10E to hotel customers and 6E to non-hotel guests for the same breakfast.
