We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It's in a great location at the top of the Ramblas which makes it very accessible for the metro, tourist buses, street entertainment and shops. We particularly liked the extended breakfast which was serviced between 7am and 11am. This meant that you didn't have to rush each morning to get ready - we were on holiday! The only disappointment was the decor of the hotel itself. It wasn't bad by any means however the Rivoli Ramblas website made the place look very plush and luxurious - we felt this may have been the case 5 - 10 years ago. It was very clean though and the service was excellent. We would recommend it.

We would certainly recommend the Rivoli Ramblas for a Barcelona City Break.
The hotel is well situated, on The Ramblas, within easy walking distance of Placa Catalunya - where the Airport bus arrives - giving easy access to the city buses, metro and tourist buses. With so many restaurants on the Ramblas, there is no need to search too far for food when first arriving.
The rooms are comfortable and clean with a high standard of finish.
We think that, in this location, the accommodation was good value for money but feel the cost of the buffet breakfast (not included) was high - would suggest venturing out for breakfast (readily available locally).
The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful (particularly Reception), although the Restaurant staff were 'aloof' .
A comfortable place to stay - in a convenient location - but don't bother to eat here !
