I would recommend the hotel most importantly because of it's great location. In a nut shell, it is pretty much close to everything. To name a few, the train station is 2 min walk, the beach and the night life is about 15 min walk, port olimpic and the columbus statue is about 10 min walk. The zoo is 7 min walk away. Either way, I would recommend the hop-on hop-off bus. The place is close to las ramblas, another place for nightlife. The beds were comfortable but it wasn't as spacious to spread out with suitcases. The elevator is too slow and tiny. However, if on a budget and are going to Barcelona to sightsee rather than spend the day in the room, it is great for the price.

The hotel was right next to the train station Estacia Franca, which was extremely convenient as that's where the train from the airport takes you. Also right by the Barceloneta metro which is the closest you get to the beach as well. Room was really tiny, kind of hard to even manuever around, but because there is so much to see in Barcelona I was hardly there. Decent value for the money though and the staff was friendly enough.
