The hotel had a very good price, was clean, airy and spacious, with a bath as well as a shower in the bathroom. Hairdryer was available from reception. It was also in a nice quiet location.
15 minute walk from the nearest metro stop, but in a very quiet developing industrial zone, so seemed fairly safe at night. Warning - check with the hotel for directions - it took us ages to find at first, as the area is under development, and roads had disappeared, and others had changed name. Plus the tourist info centre gave us the wrong metro stop!
Disadvantages are no cooked breakfast on some mornings, and cafe not open in the evenings (and no tea/coffee in rooms). In absence of winning the lottery, I would choose it again though!

yes i would recommend to people who dont mind a wee walk, it was cheap and in the vacinity of a large shopping mall with lots of restaurants and shops also has good connections to airport / centre by bus and metro.

I would recommend it to others. It was clean, neat and entirely satisfactory. The staff was accommodating and friendly. It was a bit difficult to find however and restaurants were not available in the immediate area.

We really enjoyed our 3 days in Barcelona. Part of the holiday is your accomodation which needs to be clean and friendly with good wholesome food. This hotel had all these. It is a little way out of the city but with a little walk (in the sunshine) down into the train and tube network you are in no time into the heart of the city. We all felt very happy there and were sad to have to come home. We will us Travelodge hotels again. Small in size but very friendly and helpful
