Really nice hotel for a couple

It was a really nice choice, placed really well for visiting Barcelona. I recommend it for a couple. Piano-bar in the evening, BBQ party on the roof ... a really good experience. We will return certainly if we came back to Barcelona.

Lovely hotel

Fantastic hotel Very friendly and helpful staff We arrived early, at about 11 AM, but were taken care of with no drama. A lovely little gesture was a bottle of wine (and 2 glasses) being left in our room. Very much appreciated!!! Rooms, while not massive, were more than suitable, with the in-room safe a big plus. Lovely bar downstairs with a guy playing the piano on weekend evenings. Very nice outdoor bar upstairs. There wasnt 'service' there while we were there (late Nov) but there was a buzzer which could have been used to get service if so desired. Plus is was nice to take that aforementioned bottle of wine up!!! One critisim I would have was the noise during the night. The hotel is in a quiet street, but the streets below can be a bit noisy with traffic during the night. not a problem unless you overheat

Loved Villa Emilia

Staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly, very nice accomodations - great rooftop patio/bar - and the location was good also. About a 15 minute walk to the old city. Quiet at night, food was good, what more can you ask for? I would definitely stay there again. My teenage son liked it also.

The Hotel Villa Emilia is modern, stylish and comfortable hotel conveniently located for many of the major sites in Barcelona. The staff were welcoming and friendly and their service was excellent (as was their English which embarrassed our attempts at Spanish!). The hotel is situated a block away from an underground station which is in turn three stops from Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla. We would go back!

Where shall I start!? It sits in a really convenient location, right next to Rochford Metro line and a 20-25 min walk to the centre of the city. The hotel is beautiful. Effortlessly stylish and cosy. I wish my house was as good as this! Rarely in life do things exceed your expectations but this hotel did...and then some. Ideal for a romantic weekend away. Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Couldn't have been better. If pressed for a negative then the staff were a little unforthcoming.
