Jade Garden Hotel

Built in the 1930s, this hotel was chosen in 1946 as the headquarters of General Ye Jianying, a hero of the Long March and the Communist Ceasefire Delegation, when the Chinese Communist Party and the USA set up a joint Ceasefire Committee in Beijing.
