The hotel is centrally located in the city with convenient transportation and quite close to the famous sightseeings, such as Forbidden City , Tian An Men Square, Beihai park, etc. Ideally situated on the cross-roads of the famous Chang An Avenue and district of Wangfujing, Raffles Beijing Hotel is in the heart of the Prestigious business and commercial districts, and a few minutes from the mystical Forbidden City, historical Tiananmen square, Silk Market and other famous sightseeings. Built in 1900's , Raffles Beijing Hotel has long history stood as an icon of Beijing's historical heritage. A morden French style building in light pink color. The lobby spacious with sitting area adjacent to it. There are many throughout the huge place, while marbled and carpeted floors, plants and elegant furniture. The rooms are large in size and tastefully appointed with intricate Oriental accents and French elegance , the broad band is free of charge in the room.

We would certainly recommend Raffles Hotel to anyone looking for a luxury hotel in Beijing. Accommodation and service were of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were particularly impressed by their command of English and the effort they made to ensure our needs were met. The accommodation package obtained via Skoosh was excellent value. The whole trip exceeded our expectations. On request, the hotel arranged a pickup for us at the airport. Having an English speaking escort from the door of the aircraft, through all formalities to the waiting car, was a great bonus.

Raffles Beijing is fantastic

The Raffles Beijing made our stay in Beijing a memorable experience. They accommodated our family of four with a spacious room, outstanding buffet breakfasts, and helpful concierge service. We booked online for a reasonable rate and got a great value. The location is ideal. It is next to the Metro and to Wangfujing, the central shopping street in Beijing. It is a block from Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City and a short walk the the National Grand Theater. It exceeded our expectations and we recommend it to anyone including families.
