Laying right in the very heart of Belgrade, on famous Slavija square this 3+ star property offers functional budget accommodation in an unrivalled location, and at a knockdown price. Guests staying at the Slavija Lux are sure to appreciate the hotel's proximity to Belgrade's main attractions and their offering of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities. The Slavija Lux Hotel has no airs and graces and is better suited to travellers without major expectations of a 3 star hotel! It is housed in a large 80's style, socialist-era high-rise block, which in itself, makes for an interesting stay! The large lobby leads guests into the open plan bar and restaurant area where a hot and cold buffet-style breakfast is served to all guests. Some rooms from the higher floors afford great views of Belgrade and its very city centre. For those visitors travelling on a budget, but looking for a central location with a clean bed, they can't go wrong with the Slavija Lux! Hotel Slavija Lux 10/10

I booked Hotel Slavija Lux through skoosh.com as it was the website that offered best price according to www.hotelscombined.com However, when I received voucher, I figured out it was for Hotel Slavija (2 stars) and not for Hotel Slavija Lux (4 stars). I contacted skoosh.com and they sent me replacement voucher so I got Hotel Slavija Lux in the end. The hotel was excellent: beds very clean, toilet/bathroom very clean with all amenities (including make-up removal kit, q tips,shoe polish,5 soaps, 2 shampoos x 30 ml, 2 conditioners x 30 ml, 2 shower gels x30 ml. Food was also excellent: several different cold cuts including prosciutto, several hard and soft cheeses, greek salad, Serbian salad, tomato with cream cheese, cucumbers, olives, kajmak (Serbian cream cheese), musli, milk, corn flakes, oat flakes, orange juice, apple juice, coffee,tea, butter, jam, whole grain brad, white bread, bagels, rolls, croissants, cakes, biscuits,cookies...10/10.
