This hotel was good value and I would be happy to return. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room large and very clean. The rooms facing the U bahn can be noisy with the window open but this was a minor niggle. The nearest U station, Bulowstrasse, is less than a minute away and is only three stops from Zoo. Nollendorfplatz is also very close and has a good market on saturday mornings. Don't get the hotel breakfast, 12 euro, but eat out at one of the many cafes off Nollendorfplatz or elsewhere .
