If you visiting Berlin this is the place to stay, you are in the heart of Berlin (Alexanderplatz). The room was on the 28th floor and overlooking the main square and the breakfast was excellent - good value for money.

We highly recommend this hotel. It was not only very convenient, practically a few steps from the metro/subway, but it was also very centrally located to many of the sights in "East" Berlin. We had our choice of transportation at our doorstep, including the bike tour. The tall electric tower helped us find our way from any distance. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The shower (with the rainshower) was excellent. The room was immaculate. It was also very quiet, even with a great of deal of activity at plaza fountain, you can't hear it in your room! Many convenient places to eat. You can easily pick up food at the Galleria next door and bring it the park for a picnic. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Berlin.

The hotel was above average with key features being:

Clean
Tidy
Fast Lift - Stay above 20th floor for views
Friendly bar
Good travel connections
Good breakfast

Downside:

Location - a little remote
Quality of local nitelife (but maybe we didn't look too hard!)

I would recommend this hotel for clean, tidy, standard accommodation in the commercial centre of Berlin. The hotel is designed for conferences and has that feel to it. It was good value in ideal location for shopping, bars and within walking distance to local tourist places. My only true criticism is the 'bathroom' was well equipt but was only separated by a shower curtain from the remainder of the room - not ideal for twin share!

Great hotel in a central location, very near to Underground, Overground, very clean hotel with very pleasant helpful staff.
