Vi boede på Mercur over en forlænget weekend i Berlin. Værelserne var tilpas store og meget rene. Personalet var meget venligt. Det bedste var dog den centrale placering, hvor vi nemt kunne komme omkring til de forskellige seværdigheder på gå-ben. Morgenmads buffen så god ud, men den kostede 18 euro, hvis det ikke allerede var en del af ens aftale, så det kan forslåes at man køber den incl. Dog ligger der, lige ved siden af hotellet, en lille café, som sælger morgenmad til fordelagtige priser.

A friend recommended this hotel and we had a very pleasant stay.

Great value for money (with excellent breakfast). Good location so you can walk to most of central sights (about 20 minutes to Unter den Linden) but tube is also nearby. Friendly helpful staff. We had a huge room overlooking the courtyard at rear, well furnished and modern. (The only real negative was no kettle, although a coffee maker was provided. I guess that's a British thing! The bar does serve tea though).

Really quiet location - little noise either outside or inside to disturb your sleep! Many hotels we had looked at turned out to be on busy roads, but not this one. Several good restaurants nearby.

I would go again! (and use Skoosh again)

Easy accessible near to airport, one stop with S-Bahn. Good connection to city center (30-45 minutes). Convenient for early flights out of Berlin. Hotel shuttle-service (EUR 5,- / room). Excellent breakfast. Large room with comfortable beds. Good value for money.
If our plans had been to visit the center of Berlin and the Christmas markets only, we would have chosen a hotel closer to the center.

In my first review of the Westin Grand, in Berlin I recommended it highly and said that I'd happily stay there again.

The opportunity came earlier than expected and, yes, I was happy staying there again.

It's likely that this will be my hotel choice whenever I visit Berlin.

The hotel looks and feels like a five star hotel: nice lobby area, bar, and lounge. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was a little disappointed with our room because although it was clean and tidy, I thought it could do with a bit of a revamp to update it. We paid about £100 for one night, so I guess you need to pay a bit more to get one of the hotel's better rooms. We were out and about sightseeing most of the time, so it probably would have been a waste of money to pay for a better room.

Fantastic breakfast buffet, worth paying the extra for it if you can, although lots of restaurants/cafes in the city offer cheaper buffet breakfasts if you're on a budget (although I don't know how good they are).

we would recommend this hotel. Location was central, convenient and yet quiet at night. breakfast was exceptional for choice and the hotel was very good value for money.we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very nice with quite large rooms and modern flair; the staff is attentive and friendly (even if not everybody understands or speaks English); the location is great, very central with direct access to Postdammer Platz and the Sony center and at walking distance from some of the major sightseeing/cultural spots.
the major negative points is the internet is free only for 30 minutes when nowadays you can get free connection almost everywhere and quite expensive breakfast (35 euro/person) when not included in the package.

Overall it was a very nice experience and I would recommend this hotel

I would definitely recommend this hotel.The location was very central close to Kochstr underground. The staff were all very polite, helpful and efficient. The room was lovely, clean and also quiet. it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It's a little further out from the centre than we expected but the bus stop is just two minutes away. We got a really good deal through Skoosh so were happy with the accomodation and the inclusive breakfast.

Nice, clean hotel.
The room was good for the three of us.
The breakfast was good.
It's only 200 meters from the S and U bahn and we could park our car beside the hotel for free.
Free Wlan/Wifi
TV was very old
Nice personal and no schoolkids that were noisy.
The train gives now and then a little noise, but not during the night.

The hotel offered spacious, luxurious rooms, and the staff was friendly and service-minded. The hotel is conveniently located close to many tuorist attractions. The room rate was suprisingly low for a hotel of this standard located in the heart of a major city. On the negative side, breakfast (not inlucded in our room rate) was relatively expensive and so was WiFi. Fortunately, there is a Starbucks in the next-door building that offers free internet and cheap breakfast. Overall our expectations were more than met, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
