this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. the first night we came in and noticed the bed was made with the dirty sheets where my great niece had wet the bed they just made the bed with the dirty sheets they put us in another room , when we got up the next morning my mom and myself were covered with bed bug bites. they said they would pay for us a room at another hotel, it was a dump in a very bad part of birmingham, and refund our money and pay the hospital bill, they did not pay. we had to call the police cause the security guard keep telling us to leave. the night manager told me that they had trouble and that the company would not fix it. also the ua hospital said they have had several people with the same problem. i

I would recommend it to others traveling on a budget. The in-room amenities were a bargain for the price, but the condition of the hotel itself could have been better. It was a good value for the money. Yes, for the most part.

Rooms were clean. Reasonably safe and quiet. Front desk staff were very nice. Free shuttle service DOES NOT GO TO 5 MILE RADIUS. They will only take you to the medical area, which is less than 1 mile away. My driver did not seem to know the area very well either.
