Not if you want a shower. The hotel looks like a cheap motel from outside but once you get in it's very modern. The car park was a tip, thrown out mattresses strewn everywhere. The room was o.k, bed was clean but noisy even with windows closed (we were at the front), so didn't sleep well. The bathroom was awful, the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned for years, there were still other peoples hair in it and it was literally black with dirt, the shower curtain looked mouldy. Luckily I only stayed for one night and could get away with not having a shower. Major disappointment as the most impotant things to me are clean sheets, clean bathroom and good breakfast. The sheets were clean and the breakfast was good, but I wouldn't go back.

as previous reviews have suggested, the room we were allocated was a little on the small side and the wall colouring- dark terracotta- emphasised this.yes it was quite dated but it was generally clean, apart from 2 of the 4 pillows were quite frankly filthy. obviously need to instruct their staff to change pillow cases as well as sheets.that said the dining room was very nice and the full english breakfast was possibly the best we've ever tasted.for a short stopover and a price of £37 for the 2 of us with full english breakfast included it certainly represents good value.

Initially the room allocated was far from acceptable and we were happy to pay an extra £10.00. per night for an upgrade.
Food was good and service pleasant and polite..
