We stayed for the cricket last year and found the hotel to be fine, but this year noticed a decline in standards. The pool has closed. The breakfast was chaos every morning. The rooms were still clean though. Still an ok budget option, but lacking some of the friendly welcome of last year.

This is a clean, friendly and reasonable hotel. The pool, though small, is a welcome bonus compared to other similar places to stay in the area. We stayed there for two nights during the most recent Test Match at Edgbaston, and would recommend it for anyone going to the cricket.

Small and basic rooms but good value for money. Nice breakfast, good location and friendly staff.
