The Grand Metropole Hotel is the only hotel in Blackpool which is located between the sea and the promenade, offering uninterrupted views out across the Irish sea. The Hotel has been fully refurbished, returning this Grand Hotel to its former glory. The hotel offers live Entertainment shows each evening at the hotel, all of which are performed by professional entertainers, wearing some stunning costumes. This a real treat not to be missed. Close to both the North Pier and the Tower, the Hotel is perfectly located for all of Blackpools major attractions and the entertainment venues. With lifts to all floors and parking for 100 cars the hotel offers superb service, daily entertainment and quality food. The Victorian facade and interior of the hotel do not detract from the provision of modern accommodation and services. I was given one of the older rooms that had not been modernised, as we booked two rooms one was fine the other a mess asked at receprtion to change as we paid the same per person per room. I took a family with me and one room was on the first floor and other on third asked if we could have rooms closer and again was told no. Receptionist had no time for the client, Hotel was also 95% old people. Food ok have seen better and very unhelpful waiter called Paul, Though on the possitive a young girl waitress called Laura was helpful. Car park was full and we were told to park streets away and pay extra for that. Our room was facing a busy road night club and kebab take away and on the first night music and people shouting went on till 4 am.
