This modern and comfortable air-conditioned airport hotel, which comprises a total of 243 rooms, was recently re-styled by the famous Italian Architect Mr. Bellini. It is ideal for both business and leisure. Facilities include: a lobby with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, café, bar, dining and parking facilities, Internet and WLAN access, as well as room and laundry services. Conference facilities consisting of 14 meeting rooms are also offered and can accommodate between 4 and 400 people. The hotel is located 1 km from Bologna Airport and 5 km from the city centre, with its wide selection of bars, restaurants and nightlife opportunities. Ducati Motorbike Factory is just a short drive away. The hotel offers a modern gym equipped with Technogym machines (located on the 2nd floor). There is also an 18-hole golf course located 15 km away. Breakfast is served as a buffet. Lunch is available either à la carte or from a set menu. Dinner is served from a set menu. By car: from the highways A1, A14, A4; take the exit for Bologna and follow the ''Tangenziale'' (motorway) towards the airport, taking exit number 4. From the airport, take the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel between 5. 15 am to 11. 55 pm. Coming from the train station, take the free shuttle bus service provided by the hotel from just outside the central train station (runs 3 times a day).

Many Italian cities have introduced city taxes which guests will be obliged to pay directly to their hotel and we cannot include in the price. We would advise guests travelling to Italy to check with the relevant city tourist board regarding these taxes.

Close to the airport but little else. Meals were OK, bar was pricey and OK. Rooms were clean and quite. Free Internet access was limited to one terminal otherwise it was 22 euros per 24 hours. Shuttle service to the airport was great. Also had shuttle to the train station at least twice per day.

I loved the Sheraton Bologna Hotel

It was real highlight of my trip to Italy. I was looking for the closest hotel to the airport that has a free shuttle, but it was not just this. Facilities are beautiful, staff is grate, room is clean and comfortable, breakfast served at 4:45 am, for those that need to get the early flight. Shuttle was right on time. It was great value for the money. I wish all hotels in Italy were like this one. Thank you Sheraton Bologna that you exist!

Sheraton Bologna Airport

The hotel was very nice. We were impressed with the front desk staff (very helpful in figuring out the train schedule to and from Venice). The complementary shuttle to and from the airport, train and town center was great. The hotel is more like an American hotel (larger room size) which was nice after touring Italy for 12 days. It is close to the airport so you will hear some of the airport noise, but not bad. Very nice experience. I was a little concerned about check-in since we had never booked with Skoosh, but everything was in order and had no problems at all.

Great Location

Great location to airport. A very good value compaired to the overrated rate the hotel quoted. But the a/c didn't work and the room was 78f/25c. The hotels advice was to open my window and sleep that way, which as a female traveling alone was not the most thrilling idea, but if I wanted to get some sleep that was the only way.

Sheraton Bologna, Bologna Italy

The hotel was clean, lovely large rooms, large bathroom, friendly staff. I chose it for its proximity to the airport. Getting into town was expensive as their shuttles runs on about a 3 times a day schedule, and because our flight was early we also paid for a cab to the airport. Internet is expensive and should be included for a hotel at that price. It cost about 13-14 Euros each trip into town for a taxi.
