Great rooms with nice linens and furniture. Good value for money. Staff was a mixed bag - some were exceptional and helpful, while others were borderline rude. I had called ahead to request hypoallergenic bedding, and when I got there they did not have the request in their system. Instead of simply stating that they would get the room ready, the person at the check-in counter gave me a LOT of attitude and insinuated that I was inconsiderate for not calling again the day of my hotel stay to request the bedding (again).

Staff (especially the door man/bell captain) was very friendly and wanted to make sure you had a nice visit to Boston.

This hotel seems to have missed the lesson on treating guests well. For a brand new high-end hotel in Boston they don't do many things very well - the customer service was horrible (rude front desk staff, waiting several hours for housekeeping to bring up basic items that were missing from the room - like the privacy sign for the door) Overall I was disappointed the bathroom was not clean, the tub had disgusting marks in in there was hair on the floor. I will not stay here again.

The room and the amenities in the room were great, the staff at the welcome desk were extremely curteous, they were quite apologetic that they didn't have the room set-up that I had requested in my on-line reservation. This didn't matter at all to me. Food at the hotel was also great. I highly recommend this hotel to all.
