Mercure Holland House Hotel is a 4 star hotel in Bristol. It is situated in an excellent location within minutes of the shopping district and the City center, Bristol central rail station is just 10 minutes walk away and Bristol Airport 15 minutes drive. The Hotel is definitely a very elegant and stylish hotel. It offers superb accommodation, a fantastic restaurant and bar and luxurious leisure club and spa. Build brand new in 2007 and has very modern feel to this beautiful hotel. It is very large with many comfortable seats and modern furniture around. The restaurant is very large with 200 comfortable seats. Its menu provides a varied range of modern cuisine. The rooms are beautifully decorated with elegant modern furniture. They are very spacious and provide fantastic bathrooms with separate power shower . You will find all the facilities they need just to feel as they were at home such as: hair dryer, trouser press, safe, fully air-conditioned, television, telephone, mini bar. 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 10 kms to the airport (bristol), 2 km to the nearest fair site (durdham downs), 80 kms to the airport (cardiff-wales), Close to the station (bristol temple meads).

The initial reception was good and the twin room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately the room was quite cold and took a little while to warm up but otherwise couldn't be faulted. Also, either the hotel was much fuller than expected or there were staff shortages, ordering a snack and drink from the bar in the evening took an inordinant time - only 1 barman and breakfast was chaos having to wait over half an hour for a table. The staff who were on certainly tried their best and the hotel did refund the £10 parking charge. We would be willing to give it another go.
