The room was small shoddy and overwhelmingly smelled of chemical lemons, which leaving the window open all night didn't get rid of. The hotel is distinctly run down and does not deserve a 4* rating, in addition what kind of 4* hotel directs a guest to a shop 2 blocks down the street when they have forgotten their toothbrush?

Good location relative to Grote Mart & raiway stations, taxi needed for EU parlement & offices.

Nice and spacious lobby, cozy bar, spacious rooms.

functionality was ok, bu staff rather stiff and not helpful, esp compared to other hotels in Brussels; upon leaving, the concierge tried to get me to take a taxi to nearby gare du midi, saying it was a dangerous neighborhood, altho it was safe in fact, at 3 p.m.

They call this a four-star hotel, but the rooms are three-star at best. The location is not as central as the text on the web site would have you believe. As many other hotels in central Brussels, this one is not good value for money and overrated in terms of stars.

We were very impressed with the Bedford Hotel. The reception area is very luxurious and impressive, and the rest of the public areas are also furnished to a very high standard. Our bedroom (a triple) was more than adequate and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and gave a 5-star service during our 4 day stay. The buffet breakfast was good, with ample choice. I would definitely agree that this hotel is good value for money, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. The hotel's location is excellent, about five minutes walk from Grand Place and approx. ten minutes walk from the shopping centre.

The hotel has excellent facilities, helpful staff and is ideally situated close to the Grand Place.

Hotel was great.Very central and very clean.
Staff were very accomodating.
If I was going back to Brussels I'd have no doubts about staying there again.

This hotel was clean, well maintained, good decor. I couldn't fault the breakfast choices, or service. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. The location of the hotel was excellent - a few minutes walk from Grand Place and metro station, and within walking distance (15 mins) of Gare du Midi train station. I would definitely stay here again.

I would - and I will - certainly recommend the hotel to anybody. The reception was helpful and friendly, the other services - restaurant,breakfast - were excellent.The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. Whenever I return to Brussels in the future I will try to book a room in this hotel first.
