I wouldn't recommend it. The aircon has a filter with at least 1cm of dust so in effect it does not work. It's not been cleaned for several years. The room is very hot and very stuffy. There was lots of noise coming I assume from other rooms as I was on the 29th floor ! It was hard to sleep. Rooms are certainly not large and the WiFi/internet is the highest rate I've seen in a hotel. The breakfast is OK but only if it's included in the rate otherwise it's 15 euros and I don't think you can justify sitting in a basement with this price. TIP if you are forced to book here, go to the 19th floor and use the stairs to pick up free Wifi from the building opposite (WTC 3) - or try to get the 19th floor - only appears to work there. |

This hotel is located within walking distance from Brussels Nord train station, the main pedestrian shopping street, and 10 min away from the famous town hall. The room was clean, of decent size, and came with a standard size bathroom. The staff was helpful. |

For better or worse the Tulip Inn Brussels Boulevard can be described as a machine. It runs well, but is rather soulless. It is very conveniently located in walking distance from the Brussels North railway station with its direct link to and from the airport, a metro-station nearby, and a leisurely walk to the Grand’ Place. Long queues when checking in and out are common, breakfast somewhat uninspired but adequate. The rooms are OK, not at all oversized, but with a comfortable chair, efficiently laid out workspace and wireless internet connection (at a price). The hotel is starting to show its age somewhat. Soap dispensers have replaced the previous modest but acceptable soap bar and shampoo – a sure sign of economies at all levels. Sometimes this hotel can be a bargain, other times not. Altogether, not a hotel you fall in love with, but it works. |

It would have been nice to have had access to the internet from my room via a wireless connection. |
