definitely the best hotel in Budapest. everything was perfect: the room with free Internet access, the breakfast, the pool and wellness area. good central location also.

Excellent hotel. Very high standard. Probably the best in Budapest. Very nice pool and spa (included with the room). The only glitch: the air conditioning did not function properly.

Corinthian is cozy and nice, very good value for the money. Rooms were very nice- good size and good bathroom. Design-wise nothing special but very comfortable.
Atriums were very interesting, the brunch had an extensive menu (very good) and nice space to eat in.
Spa was not the best I have seen, but nice and relaxing and free. Massages were not impressive.
Staff was very helpful, friendly and personable.

I would highly recommend the Corinthian Royal Hotel. We had a fantastic time - the hotel, room, food, staff and the Manager were all 1st class. Ideal location and value for money (5star hotel and worth every penny). Would definitely stay in this hotel when we return Budapest as it certainly met our expectations and much more.

Yes. Impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness, however the first floor is near the nightclub and noise is a factor. Good value but beware a bottle of water in the room costs the equivalent of 13 euro!

The Corinthian Grand Royal is absolutely fantastic. The building and amenties are beautiful. The staff are all extremely good at their jobs and very courteous. We were picked up on time from the airport by their driver in a Merc, I'd definitely recommend that at about £30. The reason I haven't rated it as excellent is that our room temperature control was not working and the room remained at a constant 25C. Of course by the time we'd figured out it was out of order we only had one day of our two day stay left and we couldn't be bothered to go though the whole changing rooms thing. To make matters worse the refrigerator in minibar was broken as well, however that was fixed about two hours after calling reception. Back to the good stuff. The breakfast ranks with the best we've had in other 5 star hotels. The Hotel's Bistro is great, one of the best restaurant meals we'd eaten in a while with friendly efficient waiters. The Spa was very good, all you could want to relax over a short stay with a gym for the keep fit fanatics. As to location, we walked to the city centre in about 15 minutes, but if walking isn't your thing there is a very cheap and regular metro about 200m from the hotel and there are always taxi's outside. If you don't want to go into the centre there are any number of restaurants within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. All in all a classy, friendly very efficient hotel and great value for money sadly just let down a wee bit for us by the room temperature.

overall it was a very pleasant stay in a beautifully restored building. The spa is terrific and the gym is equiped with new techogym equipment so make sure to take advantage of it. Location wise it is ideal actually, not right in the centre but well positioned to see all that budapest has to offer (taxis are not expensive and readily available). Check out ferenc liszt square which is about 5 minute walk away - great restaurants and bars al fresco style. Enjoy.

From the moment you arrive the staff cannot do enough for you. The Door/Bell staff were fantantic and in reception they upgraded us to an executive room free of charge but not the use of the lounge,( did not matter as all we wanted was a nicer room. The room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. We have stayed in alot of 5 star hotels and this one did not let us down.It was located away from the river but the metro/tram are right outside and it only takes acouple of minutes. I would recommend a resturant called Spoon which is located on the river with views of the castle. The food was out of this world and the prices were not OTT
