This was my third visit to the Kempinski. I love the property and the location. So central the to shopping and sights. Staff provides excellent service. I would stay here again and again.

The Kempenski is an excellent hotel. The staff accepted our voucher from Skoosh with no problems. The room was very nice with luxurious amenities, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We found the hotel to be a good value with the low room price we found on Skoosh. (Regular room prices for this hotel were well out of our price range.) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend in March 2006. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. We had booked the hotel due to the fact that it was central and had good spa facilities. When we arrived we were disappointed to find that the pool area was under renovation. All in all, we enjoyed our stay but for young people, the Buda side may have been a better area to stay for nite-life - we found Pest very quiet.

The hotel was very nice and the room was lovely with very comfortable beds. The spa area was very nice as well with helpful staff. The only fault we really noticed was that the breakfast portions from room service were very small and very expensive.

It's very nice hotel. One thing I am not happy with was I think I requested a non-smoking room but they gave me the smoking one.

Brilliant location, welcoming reception staff, impressive hotel from the moment you enter. Spacious, comfortable room with plenty of sitting space, luxurious bathroom.
No tea/coffee facilities in the room. and the pool was closed for renovation until end of March, but we could use the pool in the next door hotel.
We would strongly recommend it and would certainly stay there again

Excellent location in Pest by the pedestrian area. The service was exceptional and nothing too much trouble for the staff. The new pool and leisure fascilities were unfortunately still being upgraded but due to open end March. The food in the restaurant was top class and you paid for it! A real 5 star experience.

Very well located in Pest, close to the main shopping precinct and between two metro stations and the tram station. The lobby is plush with live flute playing, there's an excellent service from the concierge and the rooms - maybe a little small - are well appointed with wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows. Strong shower, big bath and comfy bathrobes.
We only ate in the brauhaus, a brasserie at the rear of the hotel which does good sausages but was empty and a bit souless because of it. All staff were efficient and friendly. We had a cake and hot chocolate in the lounge but didn't have the breakfast because it is so expensive - we had a three course meal with champagne at a local restaurant (Costes) for the same amount! As other reviewers have said it is a hotel geared to buisness people (men most specifically: note the shops available) as they have good internet access etc. Yes we would recommend it but it might be even better if there was entertainment in the evenings other than the piano bar where the selection of Phantom of the Opera songs was repeated every evening.
