Good hotel, good location. Would recommend. Some non-smoking areas frequented by smokers.

This is an excellent hotel in a very good location (just behind the Opera). I went to a ballet and it was really nice to get to the performance in 30 seconds from my room. There was construction on the street all around the hotel and the opera house while I was there (bricks were being relaid), so it was a little inconvenient, but it should be completed soon, I guess. One problem I had was that I requested a wakeup call for 4am (for an early flight at 7am). The agent who took my request apparently forgot to mark it on the request sheet, so of course the night staff didn't call me. They did apologize and I was really glad I had my own travel alarm clock, so it worked out. But overall, I was very pleased with the room and the hotel.

The hotel was in an excellent position for both walking around and for transport. The hotel itself was comfortable with everything I would expect from a 4* establishment. The breakfast was good with a reasonable variety of hot and cold and an abundance of different bread and rolls. The bedroom was good for a city centre hotel with a fair amount of room and a reasonable bathroom. The only complaint I would have is that there were no drawers - a complaint true of a lot of hotels these days. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I will probably use the same hotel when I take my wife to Budaoest (I went with my son this time).

I would like to say that our stay at the K&K was excellent. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room service was superb. We really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning and there was a wonderful selection to choose from, making our choice very difficult!
We really enjoyed our stay in Budapest and would stay at the K&K again, without hesitation.
One thing I would like to mention, we noticed that the Receptionists, whilst being efficient, were not very welcoming - one in particular did not smile at all.
Thanks for helping to make our stay in your beautiful city very enjoyable.

We were there from September 6, 2006 through September 10, 2006. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Opera House, which is handy for walks to the tradional haunts. Breakfast, which is included, was exceptional. The only negative is that the hotel is narrow, so there are very few rooms with a view. Highly recommend.

IT'S A GOOD HOTEL, GOOD LOCATION, SHOULD BE A LITTLE CLEANER IN THE ROOM (THE MAID DOESN'T DO A GREAT JOB IN THE ROOM), GOOD BREAKFAST. ON THE WHOLE, WE'VE ENJOYED IT

My husband and I spent 4 nights in this hotel and we thought it was excellent. It was very hot whilst we were there but the air conditioning worked well and it was quiet! The breakfast was very good, great selection of food. The staff were really helpful and the hotel is ideally located for the sights of Budapest, you could easily walk down to the Danube, and lots of restaurants within walking distance. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would definitely stay in a K + K hotel again

Good location. Well furnished room (though a little small). Very good buffet breakfast. Staff efficient and responsive though a little serious (could do to smile more). Good value for money. Recommended
