Very kind and warm welcome . I would very strongly recommend the place . People at the reception were always very helpful . Mostly recommended to people with own car although it might be easy to get connected to the BUDAPEST highly effective public transportation system . The location and amenitiess of the Hotel make it very easy to exercice and keep in shape . Beauitiful surrondings. Really impresssed by the kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff.

I'd recommend it to others. The hotel and room was clean, no noise in the night, every item in the room was in order. Very good localization, central in Budapest. Helpfull staff, transfer to the airport. Breaffast could be a litle better but for the price... it was better than we expected. If you are in Budapest and just need a inexpensiv place to sleep... King's is a good choise

I would recommend Rila hotel as clean and cheap 2 star hotel. Everything is according to expectations.
Metro station is 10 min. walk from hotel, and staff is friendly.

I would definitely recommend Royal Park Boutique Hotel.
+ Nice rooms
+ Bath tub
+ New Hotel (Built in 2010?)
+ Good service
+ Rooms got cleaned every day
+ Close to Arena Plaza (Huge shopping senter)


- Bad breakfast menu
- Bad sound isolation in room, we could quite easily hear the people living above us.
- Sometimes the water in the shower was a bit cold

Bara Junior Hotel is a little bit outdated hotel. Especially the rooms of Bara junior, are old fashioned, but clean. They are quit a distance from the reception.
Breakfast was sufficiant, however often the brown bread was finished.
Bara Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Pest-centre. Everyday we made a morning walk to the centre.
Next to Bara Hotel was a nice small café ( open till 11.00 pm and closed on Saturday ) where you can drink a few drink after returning from the city ( very cheap and cosey )
Can recomment Bara Junior for a small City-tripp to Budapest

My wife and myself both thought the Regnum Residence one of the most comfortable hotels we had ever stayed in. The location, whilst a little off thebeaten track suited us and it's quiet location ensured a decent night's sleep. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with a splendid bathroom and all in all exactly what we needed. We also found the staff very cheerful, knowledgable and helpful, particularly as regarded places of interest to visit, restaurants and shopping etc. We will most certainly recommend the "value for money" Regnum Residence to others visiting Budapest and hopefully will also return again ourselves.

Yes,I would definitely recommend it to my friends because it is an ideal place for rest after long hours of driving,also a very clean one with excellent service. It was far beyond my expectations,honestly.

Bo18 is a very nice hotel. I had a perfect room, which was clean and not too small. Airco was working fine and necessary due to the high temperatures in August. Breakfast was really good and consist of a broad range from yoghurt, cereals, fruit to bread and scrambled eggs. Value for money is really good. The only disadvantage of this hotel would be its location, especially if you stay out till late. However, even in that case you can easily take the night tram or an inexpensive taxi. I'd definitely go there again!

We had a very good time in the Expo Hotel. It is modern new hotel. The Expo Hotel has nicely furnished rooms, good beds and a modern, clean bathroom; we were pleasantly surprised.
We for sure recommend the Expo to others, in fact we did already :) It gives good 'value for money'. Breakfast is good, as soon as a plate is getting empty, it will be renewed.
It is indeed out of center, but since we had a car that was no problem whatsoever (and we knew that before). And it was quiet!

We stayed (parents with 2 children) for 5 days in Normafa Hotel, and had a fantastic time overthere, Across the street (a park) there is an outstanding view over Budapest. The hotel is in a quit green area on the Buda hill 15 minutes from the center. Because of that, the temperture is lower. We had a big room, little bit outdated, without AC, and that is the only minor point for us. The swimming pool is nice, also the sauna. The swimming pool is garded, so we can relax, The fitness is the best I ever had. The people from Normafa are very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is really good and complete. We dinner here a couple of times and enjoyed the food Totally, I can say, it is good value for our money, and I'm sure when we are back again, we stay here.

The pictures gave the impression of more facilities than they could offer. The rooms need an update to be in line with their websites. Did not eat in the restaurant which is Michelin recommended but the breakfast was ok.

Acceptable quality, as far as the price is concerned. Easy to reach from the airport and the city. Peaceful neighbourhood. Good breakfast.

Staff helpful except for a female staff called Marta. She initially asked for €5 per bike for parking our Bicycle! When we created a fuss she finally agreed to let us park for free for 1 night only as a favour. Have stayed in several Ibis hotels around the world but never been treated like that. After 2 days we moved to 5*Ramada Plaza Spa Hotel for same money £35/night on a special deal.
However, the hotel is clean, central and quiet.
