We loved this hotel. The lobby bar was busy with great people watching and everyone was so friendly. I am a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness, our room was very nice. Nothing fancy but very clean. We took a taxi to downtown and had a fabulous dinner on Saturday night. Sunday, we again took a taxi with some boys from New Orleans, what a fun bunch, we all went to the Anchor Bar and partied the night away.We would deffinetly stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others. Easy access on and off the Hwy, close to downtown eating and bar area (taxi ride) and the restraunt itself (in the hotel) had a wings and pizza buffet in the evening. |

The service was lacking and the staff seemed very unconcerned. We ordered ahead to have a bottle of wine and a cheese plate in our room for check in (it was our anniversary) but it never got to our room. We called to inquire...waited on hold for ten minutes, and then was told they would get back to us. Thirty minutes later we called them back and they "re-took our order". The dining service was not any better. In the morning we waited to be seated, ordered eggs benedict, waited thirty minutes and received honestly the worst eggs I've ever had. They were cold fried egg on a cold muffin with a burnt piece of ham...no sauce. We didn't even bother to return it , we just left. The room was old and the air conditioner rattled like an alarm clock and kept us up most of the night. |

This sounded so nice from the description on the site that I decided to spend extra money to stay there, They made it sound like it was water front. It is completely surrounded by 2 freeways and their off ramps. It is difficult to get to and the noise in the room from the freeway traffic was constant. The room was nice enough and the bed comfortable but the shower has no water pressure. The restaurant was the worst service. On a Saturday morning with only about a dozen tables occupied and 5 or 6 servers we had to wait nearly an hour to just get served our food. I would never come back and discourage anyone else from wasting their money here. |

I would recommend staying here if you can get a rate better than $100/night. Very friendly staff, convenient location, could use a few more TV channels. work out room was lousy, don't get the breakfast, but the french fries were excellent. |
