With its central location, the Marriott Calgary offers the city's largest hotel rooms with floor to ceiling windows and an unobstructed view of the vibrant city of Calgary. Enjoy live theatre, the Philharmonic and Alberta's premier museum, all minutes from the hotel. NOTE: Effective October 16, 2006 this will be a non-smoking property. (KC 04/2006) The Marriott is located in the heart of downtown Calgary and is attached to the Glenbow Museum, the Epcor Centre for the Arts and directly across from the Calgary Tower. The hotel borders Stephen Avenue Mall with its eclectic mix of restaurants and galleries. A bright and spacious welcoming lobby, home to a full service Starbucks where guests can treat tehmselves to a latte. The hotel has a medium sized lobby with automatic revolving doors allowing guests to enter the hotel with a sensor opening the doors. The large front desk has friendly staff. Concierge desk available field guest questions. Seating area, gift shop, coffee and lounge are located in the lobby. Largest guestrooms in the downtown are all equipped with the standard amenities: iron, ironing board, coffee/tea maker, in room movies, high speed internet access, windows that open, comforting duvets and extra fluffy pillows. 100% non smoking.

After a busy day it was great to crawl into the King Size bed. The hotel was really quiet and I had a great sleep. Skoosh was one of the few websites still showing availability when I booked this, so glad to have found a room. Thanks Skoosh!

Calgary Marriott

This is a great location as it is across from the Calgary Tower and connected to the Telus Convention Centre. Hotels in downtown Calgary are very expensive, but I got a reasonable rate from Skoosh as compared to direct bookings. The staff were friendly and helpful and I have no complaints.

Great Value, good location

Third time at the Marriott in Calgary for business, very good service, value, location. Only complaint is that the hotel uses some kind of air scent so lobby smells like a Glade Plug-In. I would stay here again in a heartbeat though, really solid hotel.

Great location for doing business in downtown Calgary

Hotel is walkable to the main area of downtown. Nice touch to have the Starbucks in the lobby for those of us who prefer a quick on-the-go breakfast in the morning. Also good to have the check-in kiosk for airlines in the lobby area as well. Excellent service and friendly faces all around. Apples in the lobby and the flavored water station was very much appreciated. Fitness area wonderful, complete with towels, head phones and well maintained equipment. This is my second time staying here for business and loved it.
