The hotel was good although a little tired and dated. The service from front desk, to room service, to concierge was excellent. The restaurant, whilst also offering great service and wines, was lacking in quality of the meals especially given the price. Visitors would be advised to eat out. The location could not be faulted. Excellent fitness facilities. I would rate it as 3-3+ stars.

Along with a great room I also received a room upgrade and free breakfast. Aside from the hotel renovations going on this is a great place to stay in the best location in downtown Calgary.

The Westin is a good business hotel situated centrally in Calgary downtown. Easy access to everything. The hotel was under renovation when we were there - and this reduced the quality of the stay somewhat. We had read that only the newly renovated towers were good, and the old traditional rooms weren't up to the mark. We actually found the tradtional rooms quite good. Service was excellent. Bookingthrough Skoosh worked very well for us.
